Concerts
olipoli organizes concerts for the general public aiming at its interaction with different musical cultures and the cultivation of active listening. We invite musicians from Thessaloniki, as well as artists from other regions, to present their work, while encouraging the creation of new collaborations and music projects.
“Kreiz Breizh Akademi: Breton Music Meets Oriental & Greek Traditions”, a musical encounter between Brittany and the modal traditions of Greece and the Eastern Mediterranean.
As part of their studies in traditional modal music at Kreiz Breizh Akademi, Gweltas Rault, Sarah Van Der Listz, Gwenaël Piel, Morgan Cosquer and Mathieu Alhachimi have developed a rich repertoire of songs and instrumental pieces spanning from their homeland, Brittany, to Quebec and other French-speaking regions.
