Mosaic Workshop

with Kalliopi Kalaïtzidou

Body

Using marble and ceramic mosaic tiles, we enter the world of mosaic art, connect with our intuition, and explore our creativity in an enjoyable and inspiring way.

Following a brief introduction to the history of mosaics, participants will become familiar with the materials and tools, design their own artwork, and create a personal mosaic piece. The workshop offers step-by-step guidance and all the necessary knowledge to continue creating similar mosaics independently in the future.

At the end of the workshop, participants will take home their finished piece, which can be used as a coaster or as a unique decorative object for the home.

No previous experience is required, and the workshop is suitable for all ages.

Kalliopi Kalaïtzidou was born in Thessaloniki in 1990 and graduated from the Department of Mathematics at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Self-taught in contemporary mosaic art, she began presenting her work under the name Calliope Mosaics in 2012. Since then, she has created works for both private and public spaces while sharing her knowledge through mosaic classes and workshops.
